International College of Cosmetology is a Beauty School in the East Bay that offers financial assistance to students who want to begin a career in Cosmetology. The School located on International Boulevard close to Fruitvale BART, offers walk-in services to the public for customers who don?t want to overspend on their hair, nails and skin. They also offer high end products from Dermatologica for facial treatments and Wella for hair treatments.

As a California Board Certified Cosmetology School, International College of Cosmetology is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences (NACCAS) which is recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE) as an eligible institution to participate in the federal PELL Grant Program, Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant.

The location of International School of Cosmetology in the East Bay is a safe area to commute to for specialized training at a lower cost than most Beauty Schools in the Bay Area. Anyone age 18 - 40+ can qualify for a career in this exciting field of cosmetology, esthetics (facials), nails and instructor training.

All Cosmetology programs require 1600 hours of training or 80 weeks. Estheticians require 600 hours or 30 weeks, Nails, 400 hours or 10 weeks and Instructor training 600 hours or 30 weeks. All of the classes are hands on as students work with clients who utilize the services at the School. Currently students represent many different nationalities in attendance, and classes are presented in multiple languages; English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese.

International College of Cosmetology also has a new study abroad program. This program is for those who are planning to study abroad, or would like to obtain special skills or improve their skills in Cosmetology. Since its establishment in 1999, the college has had thousands of students attend and received licenses for the state of California. International College of Cosmetology's course programs are designed not only to learn the basic skills of the beauty industry, but to acquire the more advanced skills used in the salon.
